Mrs. Agnes E. Ringle, 69, of 831 Forty-fourth street, Rock Island, a resident here 40 years, died at 1:30 o'clock this morning in her home. Death followed an illness of two days.
Mrs. Ringle, the former Miss Agnes Crawford, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Crawford, was born Jan. 2, 1875, in Clayton county, Iowa. She was married to Mahlon Ringle, Jan. 13, 1905, in Dubuque, Iowa.
She was a member of the Edgewood Baptist church and of the Dorcas hospital circle, Moline.
Surviving are the widower; a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Atkins, Rock Island, and a brother, E.J. Crawford, Dubuque, and two grandchildren. A brother preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon in the Hodgson funeral home, the Rev. Leslie E. Thomas, pastor of the Edgewood Baptist church, officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Park cemtery.
The body will remain at the funeral home.
