Minnie Louise was born in Bellwood, Nebraska. Her parents were John Tannahill and Juliette Josephine Bowlsby. When little Minnie was 3 yrs.old, her mother died by drowning in a well that had been left uncovered. She was so young.
She married Fred A. Brown in 1899 and moved to Sioux Falls, North Dakota in 1920 from Kentland, Indiana. They had two children, Josephine and Fred. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Dan Kirby of Sioux Falls, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
