Elsie was born October 19, 1925 in Walnut, KS the daughter of Ralph C. Sr. and Lyda (Yostmayer) Leritz. She has lived in the Pittsburg community since 1955.
On December 26, 1941 Elsie married George D. Williams in Walnut, KS; he preceded her in death in August of 2002.
Elsie worked for McNally Manufacturing in the light machine shop division grinding, sanding and book-keeping. She was of the Catholic Faith; she enjoyed jig saw puzzles, crossword puzzles, sewing, quilting and making clothes.
Survivors include her children Judy Boyer and husband John of Weir, KS, Ruth Walsh of Cedar Rapids, IA, Rita Totman and husband Richard of Mulberry, KS and Tom Williams and wife Vickie of Farlington, KS; 1 brother; 2 sisters; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a son and a grand-daughter.
Graveside Services will be 10:00am Wednesday July 29, 2020 at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Pittsburg, KS. Informal Visitation will be from 12:00-6:00pm Tuesday July 28, 2020 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg, KS. In lieu of flowers the family asks expressions of sympathy to be in the form of memorials to the Hemophilia Foundation. Friends may drop off or mail memorials to the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home 522 S. Broadway Pittsburg, KS 66762.
