Jay Dee Webb, 65, of Greensburg passed away on July 27, 2020 at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital. He was born on June 10, 1955 in Bedford, Indiana, the son of Charles and Norma (Brock) Webb. Jay was raised at the Indiana Soldiers and Sailors Children’s Home in Knightstown from the age of 5 until he was 16. He enlisted in the United States Army at the age of 17. On June 2, 1973 he married Ginger Stewart and together they had one son David.
Survivors include: Wife, Ginger Webb; Son, David (Sandy Ernhart) Webb; Grandchildren, Whitney Webb and James David Webb; Sisters, Donna Colson and Anna Jo Chance; Several Nieces and Nephews. Jay was preceded in death by his Parents; Brothers, Lee Roy Webb and Billy Webb (infant); and Sisters, Brenda York, Carol York, Mary Rigby and Linda Webb (infant).
A visitation, observing CDC precautions, for family and friends will be held at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Friday, July 31, 2020 from 12:00 pm until the time of the Funeral at 1:00 pm, the Funeral will be Live on Facebook also at 1:00 pm. Rev. Jon Porter will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Milford Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the VFW Post #2695.
