A funeral service for Kathryn Grisham will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Pastor Adam Lake officiating. A visitation will be 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home.
Kathryn Ann Grisham, 80, of Thorndale died on July 24, 2020 at the Bertram Nursing Home in Bertram. She was born on October 30, 1939 to Hubert Lee and Myrtis Lee (Bounds) Jackson in Pasadena, Texas. She moved to Rockdale when she was in the 3rd grade then to Thorndale also while in elementary school. In 1954, she married Darnell Pinkerton in Salty, TX. Kathryn was primarily was a homemaker and she also warked at C.A. Forbes, Carol's, and for the state of Texas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Thorndale.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Darnell Pinkerton; parents, Hubert L. and Myrtis L. Jackson; sisters, Gail Spates, and Renee Mitchell; brothers, Daryl Jackson, and Lynn Jackson; and grandson, Kevin Caffey.
Kathryn is survived by her sons, Charlie E. Grisham and wife Jan of Thorndale, and Wesley L.
