G-Grandmother Sarah married John Riley Gleason on the 25th of November, 1886 in Texas. They had 6 children (4 girls and 2 boys). Sarah's family moved from Arkansas when she was a child. She died at the young age of 34. Her husband John Riley lived 26 more years (never remarried) raising the family by himself. He died in Cherokee County Texas and is buried in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Maydelle Texas.
