Loyd R. Hoss
KANOPOLIS – Loyd R. Hoss, 80, Kanopolis, died Tuesday, July 23, 1996, at the Ellsworth County Hospital, Ellsworth.
Mr. Hoss was born Dec. 4, 1915, at Frederick, and was a lifelong resident of Rice and Ellsworth counties. He was retired from Northern Natural Gas Co. (Enron Corp.), Bushton. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Ellsworth.
An infant son, Kirk Elwood, died in 1940.
Survivors include his wife, Marie of Ellsworth.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth, the Rev. Dallas Curts officiating. Burial will be in Lyons City Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 307 N. Lincoln, Ellsworth 67439.
