Last rites for Mrs. Etta Mozelle Franklin Brooks, were held Feb. 25 at 2 pm. at the First Baptist Church. Officiating was Revs. Kermit McGreor & Leo Bailey. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery, Lee Funeral Home in charge of arrangement.
Mrs. Brooks, who was 67 years old, died Feb. 23 at West Point. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband, C.H. Brooks of Winona, a daughter, Mrs. Louise B. Hemphill, Winona; 2 sisters, Mrs. Myrtle F. Richmond, Tylertown, Mrs. Inez Hixon, Perote, Ala.; 3 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were, L.C. Hemphill, Powell Golding, Jack Caffey, Edd Fondren, Billy Box, & Dan Middleton.
