Born in McAlester, he was the son of Bill and Mary (Hulet) Curbow. He was a member of the American Poultry Association, American Bantam Association, Oklahoma Poultry Association and BRC Bantam. He loved working with his bantam chickens and had won many trophies. A resident of Hartshorne, he died at the age of 45 in a Tulsa Hospital. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ezekiel Curbow.
