Mr. Steven “Steve” Flynn, 79, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday July 22, 2020.
Steve was born in Pitt County in 1940.
He was educated in Pitt County Schools. He retired from EI Dupont in Kinston, and he operated a used car dealership with his family after retirement. He attended Hickory Grove Free Will Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his son, Chris Flynn and his wife, Deloris Flynn.
He is survived by his: daughter, Wendy Flynn Pollard and husband, Mitchell, of Bath;
sisters, Carolyn Evans and Sylvia Cutler; brother, John Flynn and wife, Linda; grandson, Tyler Flynn.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 2 pm in the Pinewood Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends after the service.
