Funeral services for Cecil Edwin Burns will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the North Greenwood Baptist Church with Dr. Charles R. Ray officiating. Interment will follow in Winona Cemetery.

Mr. Burns, a real estate and land developer, died at the Greenwood Leflore Hospital Monday following t heart attack.

He was a native of Ringold, Georgia, and had lived in Winona before coming to Greenwood in 1951. He was a member of the North Greenwood Baptist Church, the Leflore County Hunting and Fishing Association, the Ozark Hunting Club and the Matthews Brake Hunting Club.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Celeste Burns, and one daughter, Miss Jeanette Bryan of Jackson; also six brothers: Luther J. Burns, Emit, Cal.; Thomas G. Bums, Clear Lake, Iowa; Willlard A. Burns, Arkadelphia, Arkansas; Robert F. Burns, Camden, Arkansas, George D. Burns, Angleton, Texas; Archie C. Burns, Texarkana, Texas.

Pallbearers Charles Ervln, J. E. Wolfe, Robert E. McKay, Roy Wilkes, Ned Kimball, W. E. Cook, Jimmy Kilingsworth, Colonel Kenneth House.

Honorary Pallbearers Dr. Reed Carroll, members of the Ozark Hunting Club, Members of the Matthews Brake Hunting Club and all other friends of the family.
