Theresa was born in Embudo, New Mexico on October 26, 1928 to Demetrio Medina and Nazaria Rodríguez Mascarenas Medina.
Theresa and Benito Griego married on July 16, 1948 and they were married in a church on October 6, 1948.
Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, Benito Griego, son, David Griego, granddaughter, Daniela Griego, brothers, David Mascarenas, Salomon Mascerenas and sisters, Estella Roybal, Elvira de Vargas, Socorro, Esther Nutter, Lala Connor and Dora Maestas.
