ABERDEEN — Mary Boyce Ransom, 86, died July 20, 2020, at Monroe County Hospital of Aberdeen. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with Jack Inmon officiating. Burial will follow in Oddfellows Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Aberdeen is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Ransom was born June 4, 1934, in Aberdeen, to the late William M. Lackey and Jimmie Lackey. She was a graduate of Aberdeen High School and Draughn Business College. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Alvis Ransom; and son, Ronnie Lee Ransom. She is survived by her son, Jerry Ransom.
