Eddie A. Bell, 89, Sumner, died at 2:07 a.m. today in Richland Memorial Hospital.
Services will be in the Summers Funeral Home with Rev. Elton Carlton and Rev. James McCoy presiding. Burial will be in Sumner City Cemetery.
Mr. Bell was born Feb. 9, 1893, in Lawrence County, the son of John Riley and Mary (Foss) Bell. He married Lillie Bell March 14, 1915 and she preceded him in death Jan. 3, 1971.
He was a parts clerk for Smith Implement Co. and Stout Implement Co. He was also a member of the Sumner United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Alene Trees, Wichita, Kas.; a brother, Rev. Joy Bell, Clarksburg, Pa.; two grandchildren, Edward J. Kasten, Winfield, Kas.; Marilyn Ferre!, Charleston, Mo.; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two wives; a son, Verl; two sisters; and a brother.
