Mary R. (Ayotte) Loyd

d/o Woodrow and Helen (Grady) Stallings; w/o Keith Ayotte

After graduating from high school, Mary worked hard her whole life. She raised three children and was a loving and fun grandmother of eleven grandchildren. Throughout her life she shared her talents with others-crafting, gardening, antiquing and interior decorating to mention a few. She was an amazing cook. The requests for her down-home Southern meals were never-ending. Mary's suppers of fried chicken and catfish, fried okra, green tomatoes and summer squash, hush puppies and cornbread were not only delicious, but now provide cherished memories for all the family who came together at them around her biggest table.

Mary was married four years to the love of her life Keith Ayotte before he died March 10, 1987 and she will be buried by his side. They lived in Newmarket, NH and Berwick, ME during which time Mary worked at Kingston & Warren. Upon becoming a widow Mary moved to Rochester, NH and worked for Clarostat in Dover, NH. In 1991 she moved back to Arkansas to care for her ailing mother. After her mother died Mary remained living and working in Arkansas until a few months before her death.

Interment at the Brooks Memorial Cemetery in Eliot, ME.
