Mrs. Cottie M. Jaeke, 98, formerly of Rock Island, died Wednesday in St. Louis.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Wheelan Funeral Home, Rock Island, with the Rev. Ludwig C. Futz, assistant pastor of the Church of Peace, Rock Island, officiating. Burial will be in Rock Island Memorial Park. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Wheelan.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Cottie Weiss was born in Jefferson City, Mo. She married Bennie P. Jaeke in December 1919 in Jefferson City. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Jaeke lived in Rock Island from 1919 to 1966.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Shank, Creve Coeur, Mo., and Mrs. Jerene Carlson, Fullerton, Calif.; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
