CORINNE – Thomas Osborne Bailey, 78, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at his home in Corinne. He was born on April 9, 1927 in Brigham City, Utah, a son of Pope and Lue Ella Merchant Bailey. Tom married Renee Nelson on December 21, 1959 in Wyoming. She preceded him in death on September 27, 2003. He served in the US Army retiring in 1969. Tom then worked for Thiokol and retired in January 1992. He liked to go camping, fishing, reading books and playing sugar loft machines. Surviving are five sons and two daughters, James Bailey, Willard; Howard (Nina) Bailey, Atlanta, GA; John Bailey, Thomas J. Bailey and Ron Dee Bailey all of Corinne, Barbara Jean Bailey and Caleen Bailey both of Tennessee; six grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 25, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, UT. Family will greet friends on Sunday, April 24 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 12 Noon to 12:45 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery where military honors will be accorded by the Combined Veterans of Box Elder County.
