Roma Burt Nelson Belew,88, passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2004 at the Brigham City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on February 28, 1916 in Brigham City, Utah, a daughter of William Wallace and Mary Viroqua (Mamie) Nelson Burt. She married Ralph S. Nelson and he preceded her in death. Roma then married Robert S. Belew on June 26, 1976 in Brigham City, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Seattle LDS Temple on July 23, 1983. He preceded her in death on June 6, 2004. Roma belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a member of the Brigham City 12th Ward. She is survived by one daughter and one son- in-law, Linda Wilson and Eugene Bybee both of Everett, Washington. Also surviving are one sister, Elizabeth B. Iversen of Bear River City, UT and one brother, Ralph Burt of Kennewick, WA. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Marge Bybee and four brothers, Wayne N. Burt, Alonzo N. Burt, Morris N. Burt and Stuart N. Burt Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, UT. Friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral chapel. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
