Lola Dee Gray, 87, of Bruno, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2020, in the care of Twin Lakes Nursing and Rehab Center in Flippin.

Dee was born at home on November 3, 1932, to the late Benjamin "Ben" Franklin and Vertle A. Lay Davis. As a child, she attended Pea Ridge School, Marion County, and later Bruno School where she met Grady Gray. They were married on September 3, 1950, at Cotter, Arkansas. They were married and worked together for 50 years.

Dee worked at different jobs through the years to help support the family. Working at two different clothing factories, a shoe store, served as a nurse's aid at the hospital, a tour guide, and milking cows at the family dairy, Dee and Grady worked as a team together on the farm raising a family, serving in the community, and they were always ready to help neighbors in need.

Dee was very outgoing and enjoyed gardening, riding horses, and being with her family, and especially her four grandsons. She was always ready to go to the kitchen and prepare a big meal for her family or anyone who happened to be there. Dee attended First Baptist Church in Yellville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Doug.
