Charles B. Thompson, 83, of 6608 Fleming Rd., died in a local hospital Thursday afternoon following a brief illness. Mr. Thompson was born in Kansas June 16, 1873, and had lived in Seattle until his retirement. Mr. Thompson celebrated his 55th wedding anniversary two weeks ago. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Adrienna A. Thompson of 6608 Fleming Rd.; a son, Abbott L. Thompson of 6608 Fleming Rd.; a daugther, Mrs. Adrienna Sutphen of Los Angeles, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Lillian Orvis of Duvall; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the funeral home of Purdy and Walters.
