Of Fairfax, Va., departed this life suddenly on Tuesday, June 11, 1968. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Victoria W. Brooks; one son, Joseph; two daughters, Mrs. Annie M. Tyer and Mrs. Johness Bundy, all of Washington, D.C. He also is survived by serveral stepsons, stepdaughter, grandchildren and many other relatives. The remains may be viewed at the Joynes Funeral Home, Warrenton, Va., after 2 p.m. Friday. The remains will lie in State at the Community Baptist Church, Ox Road, Fairfax, Va. after 4 p.m., Saturday where funeral services will be held Sunday, June 16, at 1 p.m. Interment Pleasant Valley Memorial Park, Annandale, Va.
