Virgina "Cricket" (Dallas) Roberts was my Great Aunt. She married Roy Thomas Roberts who died in Paducah of peritonitis in January 1941. She and Roy had two children and at least one grandchild.

Virginia Roberts

Virginia Dallas Roberts, 80, of Paducah, died at 1:45 am Tuesday at Oakview Manor Convalescent Center.

A native of Paducah, Mrs. Roberts was a retired bookkeeper for a wholesale grocery and a member of Grace Episcopal Church.

She is survived by one son, Richard R. "Dick" Roberts of Paducah; two brothers, William R. Dallas of Bowling Green and Anthony "Tony" Dallas of Paducah; two sisters, Eva Mae Smith and Bertha Wall, both of Paducah; one grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Thomas Roberts; one daughter, Janice Roberts, and two brothers. Her parents ere Robert T. and Lizzie Mae Stetson Dallas.

Services will be at 1 pm Thursday at Grace Episcopal Church. The Rev. George Jasper ill officiate. Burial will be in Mount Kenton Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Grace Episcopal Church or Lourdes Hospital.

Friends may call after 4 pm today at Roth Funeral Chapel.
