Earlene (Lemmo) Levesque, of Middleborough, passed away peacefully, after a long struggle with dementia, on Saturday, July 11, 2020, at the Catholic Memorial Home in Fall River, MA, in the presence of a family member and the caring staff at Catholic Memorial. She was 102 years of age.

Earlene was born on May 5, 1918, in Washburn, Maine, the daughter of Earl & Alta Munson and was a direct Mayflower descendent of Richard Warren. She lived in Northern Maine until marrying Dominick Lemmo in 1942. During World War II, while Dominick was in the Navy, she stayed in Washburn and worked in a potato processing plant for the McCormick Company, receiving a silver pin in recognition of her wartime contribution.

After the war, she and Dominick moved to Boston and then to Middleborough where they raised their family. She served as Perfect in Sacred Heart's Ladies Sodality and was a President of the West Side School's PTA.

After the death of Dominick in 1983, she married Albert Levesque in 1985. They enjoyed wintering in Florida for a number of years. She also enjoyed traveling, crocheting, knitting, playing cards and socializing at the Middleborough Senior Center. She worked a few seasons at the Ocean Spray Cranberry Processing Facility. Earlene was a sweet, kind and loving lady and friend to all. She will be sorely missed by extended family and friends.

Earlene is predeceased by her two husbands, Dominick Lemmo and Albert Levesque and her beloved sister, Marie Everett with whom she was very close. She is survived by her three children; Douglas Lemmo of Bridgewater, Mavis Lemmo of Middleborough and Steven Lemmo of North Kingstown, RI; and three grandchildren, Mark Lemmo of Las Vegas, NV, Ryan Lemmo of Attleboro, MA and Sarah Lemmo of Coventry, RI.

A brief visitation period will be held at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak Street, Middleborough, on Friday, July 17, 2020, from 8:30-9:30 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at Saints Martha & Mary Church, 354 Bedford Street, Lakeville, at 10:00 AM.

Interment services will follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery, Wood Street, Middleborough.

Due to the pandemic, a facial mask and social distancing rules are required at all times.
