Arvil Milton Weatherholtz, “Sonny” 83, of Harpers Ferry, WV passed away Friday, July 10, 2020 at his home.

Born November 3, 1936 in Loudoun County, Virginia, he was the son of the late Arvil Milford Weatherholtz and Ethel Estell Beach Weatherholtz.

He was a retired printer with the Loudoun Times newspaper.

Sonny enjoyed his church, Millville Pentecostal and playing music. He also enjoyed making wooden toys. Sonny was the best husband a wife could have and the best father to his children.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Mary Virginia Weatherholtz, at home; two daughters, Brenda Lee Embrey and husband, Ronald of South Carolina and Terri Ann; one grandson, one granddaughter, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Millville Pentecostal Church with Pastor Mark Compton officiating. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery in Martinsburg, WV.

The family will receive friends at the Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV on Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm.
