On August 8, 1950, she married James Henry Hayen. To this union two sons were born, David James and James Raymond.
She married Merritt (Pat) Brink on October 1, 1981.
She is survived by two brothers, Lester (Ruth) Huey, and Bill; one sister-in-law, Mary Jo; granddaughter, Melissa (Shalaka D'Silval); two great-grandchildren; step-grandchildren, George, Richard, Kay, Alice and
Margaret; step-grandchildren nieces, nephews: Kevin, Kris, Aaron, Justin, Jason Brink, Kestin, Kari Schulz, and Dean and Robert Kerry; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands, James Hayen and Merritt Brink; her parents; one son, David; one sister, Alice; and one brother, James.

Interment was made in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Parkston, with Koehn Bros. Funeral Home, Parkston, in charge of arrangements. Casketbearers were Jack Puetz, Scott Hohn, Dusty Anderson, Curt Anderson, Chuck Murtha, and Tom Freidel.
