Services For Well Known Business Man Conducted Tuesday
The funeral of Walter Millard Mitchell, 51, well known West Monroe business man, who died Sunday in a Monroe hospital, was held in the First Baptist Church, West Monroe, Tuesday at 10 am. The pastor, Rev. Jaroy Weber, officiated, being assisted by Rev. F. L. Hearne, pastor of the Claiborne Methodist Church. Interment was in Hasley Cemetery.
Mr. Mitchell was president of the Dealers Supply Company and had been interested in building supplies since 1928, the supply company being organized in July, 1946. He was a past president of the West Monroe Lions Club and member of the Board of Directors.
Mr. Mitchel is survived by his wife:
