"The death of Mrs. Elizabeth G. Fry, widow of John Fry occurred at the home of her son, John, in Manor township, on Wednesday night. Death was due to heart failure. She was in the eightieth year of her age, and was a member of the United Evangelical church. Two children survive: John, with whom she resided, and Mrs. Mary Henry, of Manor. She was a sister to the following: William and George Gohn, Mrs. Isabella Strickler, Mrs. Mary Strickler, Mrs. Lydia Shelly and Mrs. Martha Fry, all of York county. The funeral will be held from the home of her son on Sunday morning at 9 o'clock. Services will be held in the U.B. church at Highville at 10 o'clock and interment will be in the adjoining cemetery."
