Also two sisters, Susan of Ashland Oregon and Amy Lujan of Norwalk. Also two stepbrothers, Scott Rochlin of Westport and Matthew Rochlin of Fairfield, a stepsister Samantha Rochlin of Westport and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in the Sacred Heart R.C. Church of Georgetown with Rev. James J. Dennis, pastor, officiating. Internment was private. Bouron Funeral Home in Georgetown was in charge of arrangements.

The doctor said members of a senior class are "at risk" because they are going to colleges and jobs for the first time. Further, the loss of her mother in 1988 may have contributed as the loss of a parent is a high risk. As young adults, they do not yet understand that depression comes to an end in the normal course of time and try to "kill the pain". All warning signs shared with friends should be reported as 8 out of 10 people who discuss suicide usually do commit it.
