Adelia Howard

TEXICO [New Mexico] –
Services for Mrs. Adelia Howard, Route 1, who died at 7 p. m. Tuesday at Memorial Hospital in Clovis, will be at 2 p. m. Friday at the Central Baptist Church in Clovis with Dr. Carl Scott officiating and Rev. John C. Summers assisting.

Mrs. Howard died 45 minutes after her twin sister, Mrs. Amelia Wyatt was pronounced dead at Little Rock, Ark.

Born December 30, 1887, Mrs. Howard was 83 years old at the time of her death.

She is survived by the widower, J. C. Howard of Texico; three sons, J. C. Howard Jr., William D. Howard and L. K. Howard, all of Clovis; three daughters, Miss Bella Howard, Mrs. Stella Hinds and Mrs. Elsie Reid, also of Clovis; four sisters, Mrs. Nettie Smith, Ringland, Okla., Mrs. Jane Payne, Shamrock, Tex., Mrs. Mary Ackdorn, Oklahoma City, and Mrs. Carrie Jordan, Clovis, and 17 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Further details of the funeral are pending with Sherwood Mortuary in Clovis."
