STERLING - Roy C. Dunbar, 65, died Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Wichita. Born June 9, 1915, at Powhattan, he married Maxine Larsen in October 1971, at Sterling. He was a retired guager for the Getty Oil Company, and was a resident of the area 24 years.
He was a member of the Sterling Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge, both of Sterling.
Survivors: widow, of the home; sons: Jerry, McPherson; Dewayne, Denver, Colo.; Ron, Midland, Mich.; step-daughters: Kay Thompson, Columbus, Ohio; Lynne Graber, Wichita; Donna Freeman, Bloomsdale, Mo.; Jean Wegman, Denver, Colo.; brother: Delbert, Salem; half-brother:
Howard, Calif.; half-sister: Beverly Willson, Calif.; three grandchildren; three step-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church; the Rev. Bob Baer. Burial will be at Lyons Municipal Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1 until 9 p.m. Monday at Porter-Sillin Funeral Home, Sterling.
