Donald Lee Carr, 67, of Cameron died May 5 at his home. Funeral services were held May 8 at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with the Rev. Jim Lafferty officiating. Burial followed in the Corinth Cemetery near Buckholts.
Carr, a retired lineman for Texas Power and Light.
He was born July 2, 1939 in Rickman, TN to Willie V. and Ora Edith (Benson) Carr.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Horse Club in Cameron.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Butler-Carr of Cameron; son, Donny Ray Carr of Denver, CO; daughter, Lisa Emmerson of Houston; step-daughters, Tonya Hare of Maryland, Tammy Bean of Rockdale and Bonnie Schumaker of Deanville; brothers, Billy J. Carr of Colorado Springs, CO and Ronald Keith Carr of Brush Creek, TN; two grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.
