Of 601 South Seventh street, died at 2.10 o'clock this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J.F. Stout, 707 Howard avenue, after several weeks' illness of a complication of ailments. Mr. Walton was born in Altoona in 1862, a son of Isaac and Mary Jane (Estright) Walton. He retired ten years ago as a machinist for the Pennsylvania Railroad company after serving forty-nine years and eleven months. His wife, Sarah Elizabeth Walton, preceded him in death eight months ago. Mr. Walton is survived by the following children: Iver E. Walton, Roenna M. Seymore and Florence Kathleen Stout; give grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Sallie Sissler. Mr. Walton was a member of the George R. McFarland lodge, I.O.O.F., White Cross lodge, K. of P., and the Eighth Avenue United Methodist church. The body may be viewed at the home of his daughter, 707 Howard avenue.
