Mrs. Thrift
Glenns - Mrs. Pearl Walton Thrift, 45, Glenns, died Friday in Walter Reed Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of Shackelford's United Methodist Church, Plain View.
Survivors include her husband, Herbert H. Thrift; a daughter, Miss Tammy L. Thrift, and two sons, Keith R. and Herbert H. Thrift Jr., all of Glenns; her mother, Mrs. Mary K. Walton of Tappahannock; eight sisters, Mrs. Emily W. McDaniel of Alexandria, Mrs. Ann W. Prince of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Mrs. Doris W. Davis of Mechanicsville, Mrs. Elsie W. Davis and Mrs. Elizabeth W. Elliot, both of Tappahannock, Mrs. Francis W. Nuckols and Miss Ruby Lee Walton, both of Richmond, and Mrs. Shirley W. Thrift of Gloucester; and a brother, Raymond E. Walton of Newtown.
A funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday and Shackelford's United Methodist Church, with burial in the church cemetery.
The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Central Middlesex Volunteer Rescue Squad at Urbanna, or the Gloucester Volunteer Rescue Squad.
Bristow–Faulkner Funeral Home, Saluda, is in charge.
