Belle had a son, John Leroy Moore, in 1897 in Berry, Fayette County, Alabama. On the 1900 US Federal Census, she lived, along with her son, John Leroy, in the home of her brother, James Wilson Moore and his family in the Berry area of Fayette County, Alabama. She moved to Georgia some time after the census was taken. She died on 1 Jan 1903 of consumption (tuberculosis) in DeKalb County. Her son John Leroy Moore was adopted out of an orphanage in Georgia by the Argroves, Rufus Martin and Sarah Sallie Estes. He was about 6 years old.

John Leroy Moore Argroves Find A Grave memorial number is 45352270.

There are some who believe that Belle married a man by the name of John Logan (1872-1926). I am unsure. I dont have any proof of that. It's possible.

The cover picture is of Belle's son, Leroy Moore Argroves (1897-1961) and his wife, I presume, also his obituary. They are both from Penny Argroves Holmes.
