Jerry White, age 89, of Cameron, MO and formerly of Jamesport passed away Tuesday morning, July 7th, 2020 at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cameron. Jerry was born on February 17th, 1931 the son of Ross and Dorothy (Hays) White in Kansas City, MO. He served in the United States Airforce during the Korean Conflict, until his honorable discharge in 1953. On December 24th, 1950 he was united in marriage to Betty Miller in Kansas City. Jerry worked as a grocery store manager for Milgram’s in the Kansas City Area until his retirement in 1991. He loved cats and often took in strays to care for them. He was soft spoken and kind. Jerry will be dearly missed.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty; sister, Joan Crawford and brother, Gordon White. Survivors: son, David (Dianne) White of Kansas City; son, Steve White (Randall Powless) of Kansas City; grandson, Daniel White of Kansas City; grandson, Richard White of Sanford, FL; nieces, nephews and other extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association in care of the funeral home. Funeral Service: 1 PM, Monday, July 13th, 2020, First Baptist Church in Jamesport.
