Mr. Stagg died Wednesday in HCA Southern Hills Medical Center.
He was a native of Wyoming, Ill., and the son of Alfred Carl Stagg and Mary Ida Ryan Stagg.
The World War II veteran worked for 32 years for the L&N Railroad. He retired in 1979 as Radnor Yard foreman.
Mr. Stagg was a member of the American Legion Post 88.
Survivors include his wife, Garline Frogge Stagg; a daughter, Michel (Micky) Stagg, Nashville; and a brother, Carl P. Stagg, Kewanee, Ill.
