She grew to womanhood in Almena, Kansas and attended the Almena Rural Grade School and graduated from the Almena High School in 1940. On December 24, 1941 she was married to Roland Glenn at Norton, Kansas. After their marriage they moved to California where they lived for two years and then moved to Long Island, Kansas for three years. In 1947 they moved to Pueblo, Colorado until 1959 when they came to Norton where they have made their home since.
Maxine worked at the Andbe Home and the State Hospital in Norton. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary No. 3288, Women's Church Council, the bowling team and she thoroughly enjoyed embroidery, afghans and other handiwork.
Survivors include: her husband, Roland Glenn, of the home; three daughters and their husbands, Donna and Max Lowry, Logan, Kansas; Rovella and Gary Shearer, and Debra and Jerry Jones, all of Norton; two brothers and their wives, Clifford and Betty Lou Price, Topeka, Kansas and Marvin G. and Micky Price, Pueblo, Colorado; six grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Opal, in infancy and Esther Satter.
