Miss Bennett daughter of Mr & Mrs. Wallace Bennett deceased, pioneer residents of Cuba Township, died at Sherman Hospital Elgin on December 22. Funeral services were held on Monday at 1:30pm at Blocks Chapel of south Cook St.
Interment was at Wauconda Cemetery. Rev. H.L. Bathman officiated.
After death of her parents she made her home in Barington for a number of years at Richard
Eytle home, then the late Mark E. Bennett and with the A.G. Smith family in Palatine.
Miss Bennett was taken ill in October when a sister Mrs. H. N. Ambach from Virginia took her to the hospital in October.
According to her obit a cousin , Sanford F. Bennett wrote the lyrics for Hymm "The Sweet By and By".
1880 US Census Lake Co. Illinois noted Minnie was a "cripple"
