OBIT:

George Marshall Lee was born at Kirksville, Iowa, September 5, 1867; died at Colorado Springs, Colorado, October 6, 1923 age 53 years, 1 month, 1 day. The Lee families all spent the summer in Colorado and all had returned to their homes except George and his wife. Death came very sudden from heart trouble.

Mr. Lee came to Oklahoma with the family at the opening in 1889, but only remained here a very short time and returned to Iowa. He was married to Miss May Allen of Centervile, Iowa.

Besides his wife, he leaves four brothers, Oscar G., Harley, Burham, and Harker of Kansas City, Missouri, and two sisters, Mrs. Melda E. Majors and Mrs. Nellie Bracken of Kingfisher.

Funeral services were held at the home of A. E. Bracken this morning at 10:00 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Pool, pastor of the M. E. Church. Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Oklahoma City, in Oscar Lee's private mausoleum by the side of his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Lee and Mrs. Oscar Lee.
