With deep sadness and sorrow we announce the passing of Sharon, beloved wife of Merrick (Rick Turner). Sharon and Rick recently celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary. Also left to mourn are sons Rick (Jill) Coridor, Brett Coridor, step sons Greg (Tara) Turner, Ryan (Kerri) Turner and grandchildren Faith, Matthew, Kole, Reid, Leah, Brooke, Charlee, Rian & Merrick. Sharon is also survived by brothers David (Gina) McMurchie Barber, Dan (Brenda) Barber and sister Cindy (Ed) Stepaniak. Sharon died at Langley Hospice after a two year battle with cancer. An enthusiastic and talented gardener, she grew amazing fruits and vegetables which she gladly shared with all. Also an avid reader she spent many hours relaxing on her patio, good book in hand, with her faithful and cherished pet Oscar by her side. Her passing will leave its mark on all her many family and friends.

Sharon's mother died in childbirth and she became my Aunts' daughter at a very young age when my Auntie Verna married her father.
