Billie Ruth Fender, 92 of Live Oak, FL passed away on Friday, July 3, 2020 after a long illness. The Albany, GA native moved to Live Oak in 1969 from Valdosta, GA and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Live Oak. She was a member of the Garden Club, Mystery Ball Club in Valdosta and the Women’s Club in Live Oak. Mrs. Fender is survived by her daughter: Kathy Stapleton (Len), Live Oak, FL ; son: Garnett Fender (Linda), Atlanta, GA; five grandchildren: Preston Fletcher, Katie Fender, Ashley Fender, Alexis Fletcher, Nicky Fletcher and Aubrey Stapleton. She was preceded in death by her husband: James Floyd Fender, III. Services will be held at 11 am Monday, July 6th at First United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Live Oak Cemetery. There will be a visitation held prior to the service at the church from 10:00-11:00 am.
