Aaron Alpert, 2152 N. Meridian St., a native of Russia and a resident of Indianapolis for 36 years, died yesterday at Methodist Hospital. He was 62 and had been ill for several months.
Mr. Alpert was an employee of the Kahn Tailoring Co. for 35 years. He was a member of Zion Lodge and Knessis Israel Congregation. Services were held yesterday afternoon at the Aaron-Ruben Funeral Home and burial was in Knessis Israel Cemetery. Rabbi Elias Charry, Cantor Myro Glass and the Rev. Sam Levine officiated.
Mr. Alpert is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Rebecca Rosenthal, and Miss Helen Alpert; two sons, Oscar Alpert, and Romey Alpert, and four grandchildren.
