March 2, 2006 Cynthia Jane Martenson, 71, of Tully, NY, passed away peacefully on March 2. A longtime resident of the Syracuse area, she was retired from the NY State Department of Labor and served as an employment counselor for Jobs Plus. In recent years, Cynthia resettled in Tully, where she had several close friends. She often stated that these were very special and happy years for her.

Cynthia is survived by her three beloved children, Cathleen S. Martenson of Eldersburg, Maryland; Douglas S. and Camille Martenson of Philadelphia; and Penny E. and Patrick A. Santy of Syracuse; granddaughter, Phoebe I. Martenson of Philadelphia; her brother, Arthur D. Booth of Wayne, New Jersey; and her sister, Betsy Cronk of Bel Air, Maryland.

A viewing will take place at Hartwell Funeral Home, 11 Clinton St., (Rte. 80) Tully, on Sunday, March 5, from 4 to 7 p.m. A memorial service, will be held at First Baptist Church, 5833 E. Seneca Trnpk., Jamesville, on Monday, March 6, at 10:30 a.m.
