Despondent because he had been delayed
in his farm work by unseasonable weather conditions, Herbert J. Albaugh, 43. a farmer of near Creagerstown,
yesterday morning committed suicide by swallowing a quantity of carbolic acid. Death resulted about an hour
after the poison was taken.

Albaugh refused to admit that he
had taken poison. At about 8 o'clock
yesterday morning, he walked into
the house, and is quoted as having
said to his wife, "well I won't be with
you much longer." went to his room,
undressed, and crawled into bed.
