Adam J. Launius, 23, born July 16, 1996, a resident of Des Plaines, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 27, 2020. Adam was the beloved son of Larry and Connie Launius and adored grandson of Donald and Margaret Launius and the late Arthur and Elaine Hunyady. Adam is survived by his siblings; Michael Hunyady, Nicole (Austin) Kelso, Colleen Launius and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Adam enjoyed the outdoors and loved to go fishing and camping. He was a huge animal lover and will be dearly missed by his pets, especially his gecko Tommy and his cats Wayne and Garth. Adam loved to watch movies and television. His favorite movie was Fight Club and some of his favorite shows include; Supernatural, Malcolm in the Middle and Dragon Ball Z. The latter of which he managed an online fan page. Information for a celebration of life will be provided at a later date.
