Ridgway-- Frank R. Lininger, for many years a resident of Ridgway, died at his home, No. 14 Elk Avenue, Monday morning at 7 o'clock, after an apoplectic stroke which seized him Friday afternoon. Mr Lininger was trimming shrubbery on the lawn of the residence of C. G.Hay, when he was stricken. He became unconscious early Friday evening and remained so until his death.
He is survived by his wife, daughter, Miss Neva, and son, Clarence: a brother, Walter Lininger, of Cardott Street, and a sister, Mrs. L McMurterie of Willliamsport.
The funeral services were held at Trinity M.E. Church, Tuesday afternoon at 2 0'clock. Rev. C.G. Farr officiated and interment was made in Pine Grove cemetery. Those from out-of-town who attended were: Mrs. Elizabeth Coyle, St. Marys; Mrs. L Klock and Mrs. Frank Wheateon, Emporium,; John Lindsay, Clarion; Malcom McConnell, Sinnammahoning,; Fred Comley, Cameron; Mrs. L McMurterie, Williamsport; Mrs. G.E. Terry, Coudersport; and Mrs J Robinson, Olean.
