Andrew & Augusta Bolm were pillars of the United Methodist Church in Bark River. Andrew served as custodian for years.
They are the parents of 7 children: Oscar, Ruth, Erland, Arthur, Harold, Eva & Carl.
Ruth married Rudolph Dahlberg November 25, 1916. They adopted 1 daughter, Leota & later had Helaine. They also raised Oscar Olson.
Ruth died in 1931 & Leota was killed in September the same year, at the age of 15.
Andre married Ellen Swanson, daughter of Gust & Augusta Swanson, in June 1932. They had a son on July 28, 1938, that died at birth. They adopted 2 boys, Harold & Barry.
The 4 children were all confirmed in the church.
Oscar moved to Munising, Mich. He married & has 2 children: Kenneth & Diane.
Helaine married John T. Andersen & live in Duluth, Minnesota. They also have 2 sons: Rudy & Dale.
Harold married Alice Kleiman, Wilson, Michigan, & have 2 girls: Heidi & Jennifer.
Barry lives in Wallace, Michigan & has 2 children” Nancy & Kevin.
This family brought 4 generations to worship.
