Larry Allen Blagrave died in his home on June 12th after a long battle with cancer. He was born the 4th child, and only son, of George Norman Blagrave and Irene Virginia Hess on February 20th, 1945. He grew up in Whiskeytown, California and told many childhood tales of growing up in the town that would later be flooded under what is now Whiskeytown Lake. He graduated with the class of 1963 from Anderson Union High School.

Larry married Kathy (Graves), the love of his life, on December 23, 1980. Larry was an enthusiastic and hardworking businessman who was tapped by Amyl Merlo, who moved him from working as a sawmill operator in Louisiana Pacific, to eventually becoming head of Moulding Sales division for the company. He spent time later in his career on a private business venture in molding sales with B&W Forest Products and finished his career in sales at Yuba River Moulding.

He is survived by his wife Kathryn Jean Blagrave, his daughter Josie Blagrave of Chico and wife Jaime Cochran with grandsons Andrew and Fabrice; his son Roy Blagrave of Redding and wife Lizabeth with grandchildren Sophia, Ashlyn, Kelsey, and Logan; his daughter Rachael Brady of Ono and husband Tim. Larry will be buried in Ono, California.

The family will hold a celebration of life at the Ono Grange in Ono, CA September 26th at 12 pm.
