George E. Bagley, 50, died at his home in Plymouth, Thursday night, after an illness of two weeks. The son of Mrs. Ida Eliott Bagley and the late Charles R. Bagley of Washington County, formerly of Perquimans County. He was an employee of the North Carolina Pulp Company here and a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Chowan County. The body will remain in Homers Funeral Home here until one hour before the funeral services which will be held here in Ludford Memorial Baptist Church, Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock. The Rev. P.B. Nickens will officiate. Burial will be in Windley cemetery. Surviving are his wife: Mrs Ethel Craddock Bagley, his mother, two daughters: Mrs Virginia Mae Riddick and Margaret Bagley of Plymouth, one son: George E Bagley Jr. of Plymouth. three brothers: Charlie of Norfolk, Bill and Alton Bagley of Plymouth one half-brother: Henry Woodley of Creswell.
