Gladys Graf Hunting went to her heavenly home on June 10, 2020.

Gladys was born to Mary and Paul Graf in Vernon, Texas on December 8th, 1937.

She was married to James Lamar Daniel December 28th, 1958. They were married for 32 years. Through this union were born Timothy Vaughn Daniel of El Paso, Texas, Deborah Lynn Bland of Hutto, Texas, Angela Kim Collier of San Antonio, Texas, Gregory Scott Daniel of Belton, Texas. There are 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She has one stepson and two step granddaughters.

She has one living brother, Henry Charles Graf of Vernon, Texas. Mary and Paul Graf and Brother Ruben are deceased.

She attended Zion Lutheran School from first through 6th grades and Lockett High School 9th grade through 12 grade. After high school, Gladys attended North Texas College for 2 years, then 2 years at Gradwohl School of Medical Technology and X-Ray Technic. Gladys worked in the medical field for 35 years doing lab, x-ray and EKG.

She dearly loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. They were the light of her life.

Gladys Graf Daniel married Larry Stuart Hunting of Jasper, Texas on November 28, 1998 and has been married for 21 wonderful years. They met through a Christian Magazine, "Christian Chronicle." They graded 60 World Bible School lessons on their first date. They both loved the Lord and wanted everyone to hear about Jesus. They continued getting World Bible School lessons after their marriage. Gladys was a Stephen Minister and active member of The Worship Place in Sun City, Texas.

Larry and Gladys supported and wrote frequent letters to 4 children on Christian Relief in Africa. Larry and Gladys enjoyed mentoring at the Riverside community and Gladys also mentored one child in Kindergarten at Frost school. Gladys enjoyed square dancing for 40 years. Other hobbies include reading, yoga, walking, trails, bird watching, and bicycling.
